It took me an awful lot of time from the moment I decided to be an author to the moment I keyed in the first strokes on my keypad. The story developed within me during this time, nurtured by my dogged determination and love for the characters as they grew within me. I have liked authors who write fantastic fiction, set in the most mundane of  lives and settings. The man on the street has to be the hero of the piece and the fantasm his conundrum, his elixir or his bane.
 
Of late, I have found writers getting carried away with their fanatsm and relegating the people to the background. That has been a conscious effort with me, to keep my characters at the center, the action around them and the fanatsm surrounding their lives. I have avoided grandstanding, lecturing and educating through my book and my books do not have any social or moral message. They are meant to entertain and to take the reader on an incredible journey with the characters; a journey which is more of a visual odyssey, where the reader seats back, revels in the situations and the imagery of the book, empathizing and resonating with its characters.
